Shift Type: Night shift (schedule varies), 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM; every other weekend required; overnight/night schedule with floating to other units as needed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality telemetry and progressive care nursing to patients on a 20-bed unit
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to telemetry alarms and clinical changes
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care during admissions, discharges, and short-stay turnover
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
- Document care accurately and efficiently in the Cerner electronic medical record
- Maintain patient ratios and ensure safe assignments within 1:5–1:6 staffing guidelines
- Support unit throughput by managing quick turnovers and helping where the team needs you
- Float to other units as needed while maintaining professional standards and adaptability
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (progressive care experience required/preferred)
- Telemetry competency and progressive care experience are must-haves
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with Cerner or similar EMR systems preferred
- Positive attitude, compassionate bedside manner, and strong teamwork skills
Education
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
- Progressive care clinical skills and step-down patient management
- Proficient documentation in Cerner or comparable EMR
- Ability to manage quick turnover and variable patient acuity
- Strong communication, prioritization, and teamwork abilities
