Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care with clinical excellence
• Perform thorough assessments, develop care plans, and document outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and on time
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
• Advocate for patient safety and continuous quality improvement
• Respond effectively to urgent situations and participate in unit-based initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred where applicable
• Previous acute care experience preferred (1+ years recommended)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a multidisciplinary team
• Current immunizations and required health screenings

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems (experience with Epic or similar is a plus)
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain composure in fast-paced settings
• Strong documentation and charting practices
