Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (day) with on-call coverage; includes 1 weekend per month and weekday call 4-5 days per pay period. Call coverage extends from end of shift to 7:30 AM on scheduled weekdays; weekend call covers end of shift Friday through Monday 7:30 AM.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care in the cardiac catheterization lab
• Support procedural flow by preparing patients, equipment, and documentation
• Monitor patient status during and after procedures and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the care team to ensure safe, efficient care
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities according to the established rotation and call expectations
• Maintain required skills and complete Trinity Skills Checklist and competency validations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, NIHSS, CPI (all listed and up to date)
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and License/Certificate Verification
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience or demonstrated competency in invasive cardiac procedures
• Ability to meet Trinity pre-employment health requirements (fit test, immunizations, drug screen, etc.)
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities including weekday and occasional weekend coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures and peri-procedural nursing care
• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Communicates effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage priorities in fast-paced procedural environment
• Adherence to sterile technique and procedural safety protocols
• Comfortable following call protocols and providing patient care transitions
