Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans using GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128-slice scanners, putting patient care first
• Operate and troubleshoot CT and related imaging equipment while following radiation safety standards
• Provide compassionate patient preparation and education before, during, and after imaging procedures
• Collaborate with ED, OR, Endoscopy and other departments to support varied acute-care imaging needs
• Document studies accurately in EPIC and transmit images to PACS (McKesson) for timely physician review
• Support department workflow by floating to XR, OR, Endo or portable imaging when needed
• Adhere to facility policies (including fingernail/artificial nail restrictions) and maintain professional compliance

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of CT or related radiography experience
• Experience operating GE CT scanners — GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128 required
• Comfortable charting in EPIC and using McKesson PACS
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal (radius rule applies — candidates must be within 50 miles and cannot be employed FT/PT/PRN with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity)
• Ability to commit to required RTO terms upfront (per facility policy) and to work holiday and call/standby rotations

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiologic/CT technology program or equivalent training
• ARRT-CT certification required; BLS required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT protocols and radiation safety practices
• Skilled in cross-sectional imaging and common CT studies
• Familiarity with X-ray/radiography workflows and modalities (portable imaging, OR, ED coverage)
• Comfortable with EPIC charting and McKesson PACS image management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting and adapt to varied assignments
• Good patient communication, positioning, and IV/contrast administration basics
