Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate overnight nursing care to patients on your unit
• Perform assessments, document findings, and implement care plans with accuracy
• Administer medications and treatments safely while following facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Respond to emergencies and prioritize interventions with calm and competence
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge readiness
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and communicate handoffs clearly

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in New Mexico (active and in good standing)
• Previous acute care or long-term care nursing experience preferred — travel experience a plus
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional certifications welcome
• Ability to work overnight 12+ hour shifts and maintain patient safety and documentation
• Immunizations and health screening per facility policy

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program; appropriate state licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Comfort with overnight unit management and independent decision-making
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
