Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders using evidence-based practices
• Develop personalized plans of care that follow top regulatory standards
• Assess progress, adjust treatments, and evaluate outcomes to maximize patient success
• Provide expert consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Collaborate seamlessly with healthcare teams on progress and treatment plans
• Document comprehensively and participate in key meetings to drive quality care
• Supervise and mentor CFY or student SLPs while adhering to ASHA and state ethics

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of SLP experience, including LTC or Rehab settings
• Active Oklahoma State License
• CCC certification as an SLP
• New grads welcome with strong Level II fieldwork experience (not just observation)
• Commitment to ASHA standards and ethical practice

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• CCC-SLP certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions
• Strong skills in patient progress tracking and treatment modification
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and regulatory compliance
• Ability to supervise emerging SLPs and manage DME/supplies
