Shift Type: Day 3x12-Hour (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM)

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Master aseptic techniques to ensure every procedure is safe and successful
Prepare instruments and equipment for high-volume surgeries across specialties
Support surgeons in general OR cases from orthopedics to robotics
Assist in diverse procedures including total joints, vascular, and ENT
Maintain sterilization standards to deliver top-tier patient care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a dynamic community hospital setting

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in community hospital OR settings
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Community hospital experience is a must
Ready for call duty and floating as needed
Flu vaccine required with medical exemptions accepted

Education

2 years of surgical technologist experience required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in vascular, gynecology, plastics, neuro, podiatry, general surgery, orthopedics
Proficient with endoscopic procedures, robotics like Da Vinci Xi and Mako systems
Skilled in instrument processing, sterilization, and care of scopes and fiber optic equipment
Familiar with special equipment including Bovie-ESU, holmium laser, and Skytron tables
