Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate counseling and therapy to patients in Behavioral Health
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that change lives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care
- Conduct assessments using DSM-V expertise to guide effective interventions
- Support patients on their mental health journey with evidence-based treatments
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences
- 2+ years of clinical mental health counselor experience
- Active State of Alaska Licensed Master Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker credentials
- Passionate about making a difference in rural Alaska communities
Education
- Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences required
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep knowledge of DSM-V disorders and proven treatment approaches
- Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills
- Excellent communication and empathy in patient interactions
- Team collaboration in fast-paced behavioral health settings
