Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate mental health therapy to support inmate well-being at Mule Creek State Prison
Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that make a real difference
Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to provide holistic care
Facilitate group and individual sessions fostering emotional growth and resilience
Document progress meticulously to ensure continuity of outstanding care

Qualifications

Active license as LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or Psychologist (PSYL)
Commitment to providing mental health services in a correctional setting
Ability to thrive in a structured environment with a focus on patient outcomes

Education

Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in marriage and family therapy techniques
Strong psychological assessment and intervention skills
Crisis intervention and de-escalation proficiency
Empathetic communication tailored to diverse populations
Cultural competence in correctional mental health care
