Roles & Responsibilities

• Float dynamically across Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, MICUs, CVICU, and more to deliver critical care where it's needed most
• Manage ventilators and telemetry for patients in high-acuity settings
• Perform IV starts, arterial line management, and advanced respiratory care with precision
• Titrate vasoactive drips and cardiac medications to stabilize complex cases
• Assist with procedures like chest tube insertion and EVD management to save lives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including rapid response and transplant specialists

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, with flexibility for floating across units
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system
• Travel experience preferred to hit the ground running

Education

• RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in ventilator management, telemetry monitoring, and IV therapy
• Skilled in central line care, PICC management, and blood product administration
• Proficient in neurological interventions like ICP monitoring and lumbar drains
• Strong in cardiovascular care including sheath removal and Swan Ganz monitoring
• Experienced with multisystem organ failure, dysrhythmia management, and ABG interpretation
