Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night 3x12-Hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, variable weekends based on unit needs, self-scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to patients with lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, and sickle cell disease
Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and IV therapies with precision
Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias to ensure patient safety
Manage central lines, PICC lines, and ports expertly
Respond swiftly to oncologic emergencies like tumor lysis syndrome
Champion infection prevention and fall protocols in a high-impact environment

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2 years of recent MedSurg experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Oncology experience preferred along with ONS certification
Proficiency in EPIC charting
Willingness to float to other MedSurg and Oncology units

Education

RN degree from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central line management
Blood product administration and chemotherapy handling
Rapid response team participation
Feeding tube care and insulin/heparin drip management
