Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4x10 Day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, weekends every third

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on rehabilitation to adults and geriatrics in a fast-paced acute care setting
Craft personalized plans of care that truly make a difference in patient recovery
Perform expert assessments evaluations and discharges to guide healing journeys
Fabricate functional and static splints to restore mobility and independence
Lead group treatments and educate patients and families for lasting impact
Collaborate across disciplines in this Level II Trauma center to save lives and rebuild futures

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience especially in acute care
Active AK License BLS and NBCOT certification
First-timers welcome with pending license accepted
Locals not accepted must live 50+ miles away

Education

Occupational Therapy degree with NBCOT certification

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care expertise with adult rehab LTAC and SNF experience
Skilled in CVA TBI spinal cord injury orthopedics and more
Proficient in splinting lifting transfers patient education and safety protocols
