Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery with confidence, supporting high-risk pregnancies and antepartum care
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate or scrub for C-sections in a bustling beachside unit
• Monitor fetal heart rates and provide vigilant high-risk pregnancy oversight
• Deliver postpartum couplet care for newborns and mothers, making a real difference in those first precious moments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response for seamless patient outcomes

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience, with travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (AHA approved), plus AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM and Fetal Heart Monitoring
• Comfortable in Epic charting system
• Ready to float to postpartum and handle every other weekend

Education

• RN licensure required, pending license not accepted

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in Labor and Delivery Management, assisting vaginal deliveries, circulating and scrubbing C-sections
• Proficient in fetal heart monitoring, high-risk pregnancy care, and sterile vaginal exams
• Bonus points for teaching hospital experience and newborn role at delivery
• Familiarity with OR suite equipment for C-sections
