Shift Type: Night 3x12-Hour, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float to various Oncology Medical-Surgical units, bringing your skills where they're needed most
Prioritize staff safety in a secure corrections environment, making a real difference every shift
Manage diverse patient cases from oncology treatments to respiratory and cardiac care
Interpret dysrhythmias and oversee telemetry monitoring for optimal patient outcomes
Administer IV therapies, blood products, and medications with precision and confidence

Qualifications

2+ years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, with at least 1 year current in specialty
BLS certification required, EPIC charting experience a must
Comfortable in secure settings with patient ratios of 1:3-5

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC documentation and Pyxis medication system
Skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, central line and PICC management
Experienced with oncology care, cardiac drips, heparin protocols, and PCA
Strong in respiratory management including BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and tracheostomy
Adept at dysrhythmia interpretation, telemetry, and rapid response
