Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, variable start times 7:00 AM-9:00 AM, 4x10s or 5x8s, rotating weekends, call required post-shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform PET/CT scans to aid in precise diagnostics
Conduct nuclear medicine procedures like bone scans, cardiac studies, and renal imaging
Handle radioactive materials safely while prioritizing patient care
Float to nuclear medicine as needed to support the team
Start and maintain IVs ensuring smooth procedures
Collaborate in a Magnet hospital delivering exceptional care across diverse patient groups

Qualifications

ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification with active CA license
BLS certification
1 year experience with at least 6 months in PET required
First-time travelers welcome with 2+ years total experience
Open to call including evenings and rotating weekends

Education

Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)

Knowledge & Skills

PET/CT and nuclear medicine proficiency
Siemens equipment experience highly preferred
Epic charting system
Skills in SPECT, thyroid studies, lung scans, and tumor localization
Venous blood draws, IV starts, and isolation precautions
Comfortable in hospital settings including nuclear cardiology and pediatrics
