Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on acute care physical therapy to help patients regain mobility and independence
Conduct thorough assessments to tailor personalized treatment plans
Guide patients through gait training and body mechanics for safe recovery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs for lasting results
Manage orthopedic and neurologic cases with expertise and compassion

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license required
BLS certification preferred
1 year of experience, welcoming first-timers with the right skills
Proficiency in Epic charting system

Education

Physical Therapy degree from accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in acute care, orthopedics, and neurology
Skilled in assessment, gait training, and body mechanics
Familiar with conditions like hip fractures, spinal injuries, stroke rehab, and more
Proficient with equipment such as gait belts, hospital beds, and sliding boards
Strong patient and family education abilities
