Candidate Pay Rate: $38 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on occupational therapy to empower patients in their daily activities
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create personalized treatment plans
Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies to maximize recovery outcomes
Educate patients and families on techniques for greater independence
Foster a positive, healing environment in a welcoming rehab center

Qualifications

Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
Current state licensure in Alabama or ability to obtain quickly
BLS certification preferred
Compassionate approach with excellent patient rapport
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

Education

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques
Skilled in patient assessment and progress documentation
Effective communication for team collaboration and patient education
Proficiency with rehab equipment and modalities
Adaptable problem-solving in diverse patient scenarios
