Roles & Responsibilities

• Master vital signs including EKGs, pulse oximetry, and vision testing to kick off patient visits right
• Room patients smoothly while capturing histories, meds, and allergies with care
• Assist with procedures like nebulizer treatments, injections, and splinting to make a real difference
• Perform specimen collection, lab tests, and wound care with precision and compassion
• Stock supplies, manage office duties, and handle telephone triage to keep the clinic humming

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) certification is a must - no MA-R, MA-P, or MA-HT
• At least 6 months experience in adult/pediatric outpatient clinics
• Previous travel experience required to hit the ground running
• BLS certification and CMA preferred
• Reliable personal transportation - no public transit here

Education

• Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) training and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• EPIC charting expertise to navigate documentation effortlessly
• Venipuncture, capillary draws, throat swabs, and urine collections
• Suture removal, dressing changes, wound care, and splinting
• Injections including immunizations and intramuscular
• Telephone triage, follow-up calls, lab test reviews, and autoclaving
