Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in accordance with clinical protocols
• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patient response to therapy
• Administer respiratory treatments and operate respiratory therapy equipment safely
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document interventions, patient progress, and required competency checklists accurately
• Participate in Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist activities
• Maintain compliance with required health screenings, immunizations, and drug testing procedures

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Experience in respiratory therapy care (Respiratory Therapy core skill listed)
• Completion or willingness to complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to complete required personal health history items: fit test, color vision, 2-step PPD or IGRA, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, physical/health statement, COVID-19 vaccine, influenza vaccine
• Successful completion of Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Respiratory Therapy clinical knowledge
• Basic Life Support principles and techniques
• Familiarity with Trinity Specialty competency and skills checklist processes
• Understanding of required pre-employment health screenings and immunization documentation
