Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day/Night rotating shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric PCU patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes conditions
Titrate and monitor common drips including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Perform continuous EEG monitoring and critical assessments
Collaborate with charge nurse and patient care techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience preferred
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Positive attitude, strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Knowledge & Skills

Titration of cardiac and neurological medications
Continuous EEG monitoring and interpretation
Acute care and telemetry skills
Team collaboration and adaptability in fast-paced environment
