Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including CHF, diabetic complications, pneumonia, COPD, post-operative surgeries, and more
Monitor telemetry and manage common titratable drips like Heparin and Bumex
Collaborate with a supportive team of RNs, CNAs, and charge nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float as a helping hand to other departments as needed, promoting teamwork across units
Maintain a safe and healing environment following hospital policies and best practices

Qualifications

Active RN license; open to applicants applying for Oregon 90-day emergency license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience preferred
Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong general medical-surgical nursing skills
Experience with pediatric patient care, telemetry monitoring, and high flow oxygen therapy
Competency in CPAP/BiPAP management and titration of Heparin and Bumex
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to floating assignments and census changes
