Location: Redding, California

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, including every 3rd weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services in an acute care rehab setting
Evaluate and treat patients to improve daily living skills and functional independence
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PTs, SLPs, and nursing staff
Document patient progress using Cerner EMR system
Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as part of the perm staff schedule
Contribute to a supportive team environment that values quality care

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in occupational therapy specialty
Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience required
Open to first-time travelers - we welcome new adventurers!
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR system
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt to different patient populations and case types
