Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to orthopedic patients, focusing on upper extremity conditions such as shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures.
Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
Document patient progress using ReDoc for outpatient and Meditech for acute care.
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home programs.

Qualifications

Oregon Occupational Therapy License required.
BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
Minimum 1-2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience, specifically with upper extremity therapy.
Experience with ReDoc and Meditech documentation systems preferred.
Lymphedema training is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in orthopedic rehabilitation, particularly upper extremity.
Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficient in electronic medical records (ReDoc, Meditech).
Time management skills to handle a caseload of approximately 12 patients per day.
