Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced Oncology PCU and MedSurg unit
Monitor and titrate drips such as heparin and cardizem, and administer chemotherapy
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians
Float to MedSurg and PCU units as needed to support the team
Conduct hourly rounding and ensure patient safety and satisfaction
Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and care coordination

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or Oncology nursing experience
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certification required
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
EPIC experience preferred but not required for orientation
Comfortable with ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring (training available)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for PCU and Oncology patients
Proficiency in chemotherapy administration and handling
Ability to titrate intravenous medications safely
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
Adaptability to float between different levels of care
