Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population across multiple units in Zone 1
Float between facilities in the Colorado Springs area, ensuring continuity of care
Titrate heparin drips and manage complex medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to varying unit assignments, from cardiac to neuro to ortho

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Prior neuro experience preferred
Willingness to float within Zone 1 (60-mile radius)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in managing telemetry monitoring and cardiac drips
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with floating and adapting to new units daily
