Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), days/nights, every 3rd weekend, holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analysis
Administer respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy
Operate and manage ventilators (PB980, Hamilton C1, V60 BiPAP) for patients of all ages
Monitor patient respiratory status and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Collaborate with ER, inpatient, and outpatient teams to provide comprehensive respiratory care
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR

Qualifications

Active North Dakota Respiratory Therapy License required at time of submission
CRT or RRT certification (RRT preferred)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and NRP preferred
Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Ability to work independently and be the sole RT in-house when needed
No previous travel experience required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ABG sampling and interpretation
Skilled in EKG acquisition and basic interpretation
Experience with Meditech EMR
Competent in using PB980, Hamilton C1, and V60 BiPAP ventilators
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking
Ability to manage respiratory emergencies in a fast-paced environment
