Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality PET/CT scans following established protocols and safety guidelines
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as ordered by the physician
Position patients accurately and provide clear instructions to ensure patient comfort and cooperation
Monitor patients during scans and respond promptly to any adverse reactions
Maintain detailed patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and timely
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging results

Qualifications

Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT (N) required
Valid California state license in nuclear medicine technology
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PET/CT imaging preferred
Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of PET/CT imaging techniques and radiation safety
Proficiency in operating PET/CT scanners and related software
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate bedside manner and patient-focused approach
