Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac, nephrology, and stroke care to adult and geriatric patients
Manage diabetes care and perform continuous EEG monitoring with attention to detail
Titrate cardiac medications including Cardizem and beta-blockers safely and effectively
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to maintain excellent 1:4-5 ratios
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed while delivering consistent high-quality care
Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills in our fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of progressive care or telemetry experience preferred
Strong assessment skills and comfort with drip titration required
Valid driver's license needed at time of submission for radius verification
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac care and continuous medication titration
Nephrology and stroke patient management
Diabetes monitoring and seizure medication administration
Critical thinking and clear communication with interdisciplinary teams
Flexibility to float across medical, ICU, and rehab units
