Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from EP and cath lab procedures
Monitor vital signs and ensure patient comfort during critical recovery periods
Collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiologists during ablations, device implants, and structural heart cases
Support patients through device extractions and interventional procedures with compassion and expertise
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR while delivering outstanding patient care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in Texas or compact license
Minimum one year experience in cath lab, EP lab, interventional radiology, or operating room
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Preferred: Greater than one year of EP RN experience
Strong communication skills and ability to work cohesively with teammates

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with Biosense Webster, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic mapping systems
Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records
Understanding of ablation procedures, device implants, and structural heart interventions
Ability to adapt to daily case fluctuations and changing priorities
Team-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
