Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts (may include any day Mon-Sun) including weekends, holidays and on-call. Available shift times as scheduled: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM; 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Rotating day and night coverage.

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub across multiple service lines, including General, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Thoracic and Robotics
• Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Monitor patient condition and support the surgical team with timely interventions
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments, implants and supplies using systems like Pyxis
• Document perioperative care accurately in Epic and communicate via Vocera and Outlook as needed
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and perioperative staff to optimize outcomes
• Participate in rotating weekends, holiday coverage and on-call duties as scheduled
• Support training and mentorship of team members when opportunities arise

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience (required) — please do not submit if not met
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (required)
• CNOR certification (preferred)
• Level I trauma experience (preferred)
• Comfortable with robotics and multiple surgical specialties
• Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, Vocera and Outlook

Knowledge & Skills

• Perioperative nursing and sterile technique
• Scrub and circulating roles across multiple specialties
• Patient monitoring and intraoperative safety practices
• Experience with Epic, Pyxis, Vocera and electronic documentation
• Ability to lift, push and pull (up to 250 lbs with assistance) and stamina for long procedures
• Strong communication, teamwork and situational awareness in the OR
