Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to Med/Surg patients during night shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status, escalating changes as needed
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Support families with clear communication and compassionate education
• Respond to emergencies and on-call situations with calm, effective action

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license to practice in the State of Colorado (required)
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS and PALS required upon hire or attainable within 6 months
• Two years of relevant Med/Surg experience preferred
• Specialty certification in relevant areas preferred
• Willingness to work night shifts and accept possible on-call duties

Education

• Current RN license in Colorado (as specified under Required Education & Experience)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong Med/Surg clinical skills and patient assessment abilities
• Competence in medication administration and treatment protocols
• Ability to prioritize care and manage multiple patients during busy night shifts
• Clear communication and collaboration with clinical teams
• Dependability for scheduled night coverage and on-call responsiveness
