Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert labor and delivery care, supporting mothers through every stage of childbirth
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond swiftly to any changes during labor
Assist with inductions, C-sections, and emergency situations such as shoulder dystocia or postpartum hemorrhage
Transition and assess newborns, ensuring a smooth start to life outside the womb
Collaborate with a tight-knit team of seasoned nurses who are always ready to lend a hand
Float within the facility when needed, expanding your skills across LDRP and NICU units

Qualifications

Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
Minimum two years of Labor and Delivery experience
Current BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications
Comfortable managing inductions with Pitocin and Cervidil
Experience with vacuum or forceps-assisted deliveries preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation
Confident managing OB emergencies
Familiarity with Meditech and CPN documentation
Ability to provide couplet care and intermediate NICU support
Excellent communication and patient-experience skills
