Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts 1-2 times per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing conscious sedation and general anesthesia
Monitor and recover patients after a wide range of interventional radiology procedures
Collaborate with a skilled team of IR techs, CT techs, and nuclear medicine specialists
Support both outpatient and inpatient populations, including critical care and telemetry patients
Document care accurately using the Cerner EMR system
Assist with body IR procedures such as chemoembolization, Y-90 treatments, IVC filter placements, and more

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certification required
PALS certification preferred
Level I trauma experience required
Pre-op, PACU, or ICU experience strongly preferred
Interventional Radiology experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfort working with vents and telemetry monitoring
Ability to handle both routine and emergent IR cases
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with Cerner EMR is helpful
