Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide advanced critical care to ICU and CCU patients with complex needs
• Perform continuous patient monitoring and timely assessments
• Implement evidence based interventions and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and manage hemodynamic support safely
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize care
• Lead and participate in emergent responses and code situations
• Document patient care accurately and communicate changes in condition
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and discharge needs

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider level BLS required
• AHA ACLS required for ICU-CCU assignments
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience in ICU or CCU settings and comfort with high acuity patients
• Comfort working night shifts and rotating weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Familiarity with ICU and CCU protocols and advanced interventions
• Experience managing ventilators, drips and advanced monitoring
• Ability to work effectively on night shift and during rotating weekends
• Clear communication and teamwork in high stress situations
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting
