Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional critical care to diverse ICU patients across multiple specialties
• Titrate life-saving medications including pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics with precision
• Float throughout Zone 1 facilities providing expert nursing care wherever you're needed most
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while managing vents, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Support patients on advanced therapies like CRRT, IABP, and Impella with 1:1 attention

Qualifications

• Active Colorado or compact nursing license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years preferred for first-time travelers)
• Epic experience strongly preferred for first-time travelers
• Comfortable floating within a 60-mile radius and across various ICU and step-down units

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing across MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU settings
• Expert titration of pressors, sedation, paralytics, heparin, and insulin drips
• Ventilator management and respiratory equipment troubleshooting
• Independent cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
• Adaptability to float between ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry units
