Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; weekends and holidays vary based on department needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert emergency care to patients in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center
Respond swiftly to trauma, stroke, and critical care situations with precision and compassion
Administer life-saving medications and monitor complex drips common in high-acuity ERs
Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
Float to the OBS unit and Freestanding Creighton ER to broaden your clinical experience
Interpret cardiac strips and provide continuous monitoring for critically ill patients

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
NRP certification preferred
Recent Level I or Level II trauma experience strongly preferred
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills in high-acuity settings
Ability to manage multiple patients while maintaining safety and quality
Comfortable interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding to rapid changes
Excellent communication and teamwork in a collaborative ER environment
