Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and specific days to be confirmed with facility; covers day and night ED coverage)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care for patients across the lifespan
- Perform rapid triage and focused assessments in urgent, high-acuity situations
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate timely care
- Administer medications, start/maintain IV therapy, and monitor patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly
- Provide patient and family education about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up
- Participate in trauma and emergency response activities, maintaining readiness
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential (required)
- Emergency Department (ED/ER) nursing experience preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred or supported
- Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented emergency environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Triage and rapid emergency assessment skills
- IV therapy, medication administration, and basic procedural support
- Strong critical thinking and the ability to make timely decisions
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and staff
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation practices
