Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-08-2026

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to patients across ED and MedSurg swing units
Titrate drips and monitor patients with varying acuity levels
Collaborate with the charge nurse and float to support ED holds when needed
Read cardiac strips and respond quickly to patient changes
Provide exceptional care whether treating acute patients or supporting swing bed recovery

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
At least one year of MedSurg experience
Comfortable working in a 22-bed unit with 1:4 acute and 1:6 swing ratios

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Experience with oxygen delivery systems and basic respiratory equipment
Ability to read telemetry strips and respond to changes
Flexibility to float between departments and take on charge duties
