Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately to prioritize urgent care
- Stabilize and manage acute and emergent conditions in collaboration with the ED team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document all care thoroughly
- Communicate clearly with physicians, specialists, and support staff to coordinate patient care
- Provide compassionate patient- and family-centered care during high-stress situations
- Participate in shift handoffs and maintain accurate, timely records for continuity of care
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) — demonstrated experience working in Emergency Department (ED/ER) settings
- Comfort and ability to work 12.5-hour clinical shifts as required by the facility
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills in acute care scenarios
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Emergency patient assessment and triage
- Acute care stabilization and monitoring
- Skilled medication administration and IV management
- Clear clinical documentation and electronic charting
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary ED team
