Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care with compassion and clinical accuracy
- Assess patient conditions and promptly report changes to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments, following policies and safety checks
- Document patient care thoroughly in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care partners to coordinate care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Promote infection control and patient safety best practices on every shift
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts and uphold regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional certifications a plus
- Clinical nursing experience preferred; new grads with strong preceptorship interest encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred or working toward
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid assessment and patient monitoring abilities
- Medication administration and IV care knowledge
- Comfortable using electronic health record systems
- Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Commitment to safety, infection control, and compassionate care
