Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health nursing care to adults in an inpatient setting
• Perform thorough assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions
• Monitor patient safety and respond effectively to crisis situations with de-escalation techniques
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate holistic care
• Document patient progress and care activities accurately and in a timely manner
• Advocate for patients and their families, supporting recovery-oriented goals

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with behavioral health experience
• Current RN licensure appropriate for practice in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
• Comfort with and commitment to completing required orientation
• Strong interpersonal and crisis-intervention skills; ability to work collaboratively
• Willingness to complete required background checks, health screenings, and mandatory training

Education

• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN/BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Behavioral health assessment and formulation
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies
• Medication administration and monitoring in psychiatric settings
• Clear clinical documentation and electronic health record use
• Effective interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
• Patient-centered, trauma-informed care principles
