Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations with attention to accuracy and patient comfort
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment following manufacturer and facility protocols
• Position patients correctly and use appropriate techniques to produce diagnostic images
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection and infection control procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the broader care team to support timely diagnosis and treatment
• Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and manage images in PACS
• Participate actively in orientation, continuing education, and team meetings to improve care delivery

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (Radiography) certification or state Radiologic Technologist license (required or in accordance with state rules)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or obtained upon hire
• Comfortable working 9.5-hour shifts and participating in scheduled orientation
• Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately
• Prior experience in diagnostic radiography preferred but motivated new grads from accredited programs are encouraged to apply

Education

• Associate degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging protocols
• Familiarity with digital radiography systems and PACS
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and infection control practices
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to prioritize workload in a busy imaging environment
