Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with care and accuracy
- Position patients and equipment for high-quality imaging
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while minimizing radiation exposure
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment and report issues promptly
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care and workflow
Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology
- State licensure for Louisiana radiologic technologists if required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Comfortable with imaging equipment, PACS, and basic troubleshooting
- Previous clinical experience preferred but new grads who are eager to learn are welcome
Education
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification preferred or registry-eligible
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and patient positioning
- Familiarity with PACS and digital imaging workflows
- Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
- Ability to operate radiography equipment and perform basic QC checks
- Good interpersonal skills for working with diverse patient populations
- Detail-oriented approach to documentation and image quality
