Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional abilities and needs to create personalized plans of care
• Develop and implement goal-driven occupational therapy interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Document clinical progress and treatment outcomes clearly and timely
• Provide patient and family education to promote independence and safe function
• Adapt treatment approaches to meet the needs of diverse patient populations

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii occupational therapy license (must be certified to practice in Hawaii)
• Occupational Therapist (OT) credentials as required by state practice
• Ability to work 8-hour day shifts and cover weekends as assigned
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in occupational therapy evaluation and intervention planning
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and adaptive equipment
• Proficient with clinical documentation and electronic health records
• Strong patient education and motivational skills
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively with Hawaii's diverse communities
