Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care and perform LPN clinical duties according to facility standards
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and accurately document patient information
- Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans
- Support patients and families with education, comfort, and emotional support
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or required per facility policy
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and attending required orientation
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a care team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in basic patient care: vitals, medication administration, and documentation
- Familiarity with wound care and common clinical procedures for LPNs
- Comfortable using electronic health records and following clinical protocols
- Good critical thinking, time management, and teamwork skills
