Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per policy
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain clear, concise charting
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers with professionalism
• Maintain infection control standards and a safe care environment
• Support patient and family education to promote recovery and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an accredited provider
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Previous LPN experience in a clinical setting preferred but new grads considered
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings

Education

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited practical nursing (LPN) program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and charting
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Patient-centered communication and family education techniques
• Basic infection control and safety procedures
