Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and daily support to patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and responses to interventions
- Communicate clearly with nurses, providers, and the care team to ensure coordinated care
- Document patient care thoroughly in the electronic medical record
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and education to support smooth transitions
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (able to practice in Georgia preferred)
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and patient-centered mindset
- Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program; high school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and IV/route basics
- Vital signs assessment and patient monitoring
- EMR documentation and charting best practices
- Patient education and compassionate communication
- Teamwork and effective handoff/reporting skills
