Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside care to patients in line with facility protocols
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to the RN or provider
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed to keep the unit running smoothly
- Support infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current and active LPN license (must be valid in Georgia)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
- Ability to pass background and credentialing checks
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; a positive attitude goes a long way
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/Licensed Practical Nurse program; high school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental nursing skills including medication administration and wound care
- Basic assessment skills and ability to recognize changes in patient condition
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary team
