Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as a Licensed Nursing Assistant
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
- Take and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
- Support a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients and visitors
- Help with feeding, transfers and positioning while maintaining dignity and respect
- Communicate clearly with the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Qualifications
- Current LNA certification (NH preferred or eligible to obtain)
- Willingness to complete paid orientation as provided by the facility
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed LNA training program and current certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, assisting with ADLs, safe patient handling
- Infection control and proper use of PPE
- Clear communication with patients, families and clinical team members
- Time management and ability to work in a fast-paced care environment
- Compassion, patience and attention to detail
