Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN, making each patient feel heard and cared for
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Perform routine patient assessments and report changes to the care team
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to coordinate excellent care
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain best practices
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow facility policies and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active LPN credential (Licensed Practical Nurse) required
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and participating in orientation
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain if required by facility)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; dependable and patient-focused
- Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent practical nursing education
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
- Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Charting and electronic health record documentation
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
- Time management and prioritization in a clinical setting
